Introducing…our community partners!

We’re ecstatic to be announcing our first three Green Resilience Project partners. The Centre for Local Prosperity, Conservation Council of New Brunswick and Iron & Earth will be hosting conversations about climate change, income security and their role in building resilience in communities across Canada.

Centre for Local Prosperity (CLP) promotes local economic solutions and climate readiness for rural and local communities, primarily in Atlantic Canada. CLP organizes conferences and community working sessions, and conducts evidence-based studies that often lead to community implementation. Their work builds strength through citizen, business and local government collaboration.

The Conservation Council of New Brunswick is a non-profit organization that creates awareness for environmental problems and advances practical solutions through research, education, and intervention.

Iron & Earth is a worker-led organization whose mission is to empower fossil fuel industry workers and their communities to build and implement climate solutions.

Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we welcome them to the Project and dive deeper into their work. We’re so glad to have them on board!
