An interview with Muzamil Gadain from the Black Environmental Initiative on conversations they hosted as part of the Green Resilience Project (GRP). Black Environmental Initiatives promotes environmental engagement of Black communities and the environmental protection of all people, especially low income communities. With support from GRP, BEI seized the opportunity presented by the City of Toronto’s consultation to review their “Confronting Anti-Black Racism Strategy,” using their conversation as a basis to provide insights into the environmental challenges facing Black communities in Toronto.
